Acey Deucy Games
Acey Deucy is another popular backgammon variation in which a player who roles "acey deucy" 1-2, gets to reroll. Acey Deucy rules vary from one place to another; in America, a player rolls any double of his choice following an acey deucy roll and in Europem the player also gets to play a double twice. All Acey Deucy games are played without the doubling cube.
American Acey Duecy
American Acey Deucy used to be the most popular pastime among US soldiers during World War I. The game begins with all the players' checkers placed outside the board. The object of the game is to move all checkers around the board into the players' home boards and then to bear them off. As in backgammon, the first player who completes the bearoff, is the winner of the game. When a player rolls a 1-2, he first chooses a double of his choice and plays it, then rolls again and plays the roll.

European Acey Deucy
European Acey Deucy plays almost the same as American Acey Duecy; both backgammon variants begin with the checkers off the board, and in both of them a player who rolls 1-2 is awarded with a reroll. In the European version of the game, a player who rolls double, gets to name a double of his choice and play it after completing the rolled double.
Greek Acey Deucy
Ace-Deo by its Greek name, this variant of Acey Deucy differs from the American and European corresponding games from the setup: in Ace-Deo, the players' checkers are put on their 1-point. The object of the game is again to move the checkers around the board to the players' home boards and then to bear them off. Once a player rolls 1-2, all he gets is the right to name and play any roll of doubles.
